Cod Liver Oil Overview
Cod liver oil is naturally high in omega-3 fatty acids. It also contains naturally occurring vitamin D and vitamin A. Since cod liver oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids, it has a lot of the same health attributes as fish and krill oil. Cod liver oil is high in DHA and EPA. These fatty acids play a key role in the structural development of retinal, neural and synaptic membranes and are though to be important for normal neural function.
