Product Overview

Hawthorn, also known as Crataegus, is a plant in the rose family that has a long history of use for medicinal purposes. Hawthorn has been historically used by doctors and other health care professionals to address heart health concerns. It is thought that what makes hawthorn so effective is its high concentration of flavonoids such as oligomeric procyanidins (OPCs), vitexin, vitexin 4’-O-rhamnoside, quercetin, and hyperoside.

Research has shown that hawthorn supports healthy cardiovascular function. Clinical trials also indicate that hawthorn is effective at combating chest pain caused by low blood flow to the heart and supports healthy blood vessels throughout the body.
